In 1984 our family opened Bob's Jewel Shop in Historic downtown Lumberton In 1998 we moved to our current location on Fayetteville Road. Our free standing location has over 2900 square foot with over 40 showcases. With over 40 showcases we offer Robeson County's largest selection of quality jewelry. We increased the size of our in house repair center to offer a quick turnaround of a day or so on most repairs. Our location provides plenty of parking with easy access to Fayetteville Road and Farrington Drive.

When you buy from us, you get honest advice from a professional, someone who eats, breathes and sleeps jewelry. We have gemological training, read professional journals to keep up to date, travel to trade fairs and seminars and learn all about the products we offer. Greg has spent most of his life in the jewelry industry, starting in high school. He graduated from the University of North Carolina with a degree in Business Administration. Greg has graduated from various jewelry schools also. He attended the Trenton Jewelry School and the Holland School for Jewelers. Greg also earned the Diamond and Diamond Grading certification form the Gemological Institute of America. He held the title of Registered Jeweler from the American Gem Society for over 30 years.

Greg has been involved in his community by serving on various boards and committees over the years both with the city and local chamber of commerce. Greg is active in his church. Since day one, Bob's Jewel Shop has been civically minded by donation to our local nonprofit organizations.

Bob's Jewel Shop is a proud member of Retail Jewelers Organization and North Carolina Jewelers Association. Greg has served several terms on the state board. By being a member of the Retail Jewelers Organization (RJO) has enabled us to keep up with a changing industry by receiving biannual educational instruction as well as keeping abreast of current jewelry and fashion trends.
